You cannot choose love. Sometimes it comes, and then it goes. Sometimes it stays forever, and sometimes you never find it. Sometimes it is so close that you don’t see it. The little mouse Martina and the big mouse Martín are good friends. One day Martina finds a coin and decides to buy herself a ribbon at her friend Martin’s haberdashery. She is so pretty that she starts to have many suitors. Mister Pato, Mister Sapito, Mister Gato… which one is the best choice? The little mouse will not be won over easily, nor will Martin allow anyone to take away the love of his life. An amusing version of the well-known traditional folktale.
Tropos was founded in 1992 in Madrid by a group of friends who liked putting on puppet theatre shows at the Parque de El Retiro and at children’s hospitals. After collaborating with other companies like Cachivache and El Retablo, in 1998 Tropos became a professional company. Since then, it has created more than a dozen shows that stand out due their ability to captivate both children and adults by means of humour.
