Hansel and Gretel leave a trail of white stones in the forest to find their way back home. When they go back, their stepmother wants to get rid of them and obliges them to leave again. This time they don’t have any stones, and leave bread crumbs that the birds quickly eat. Night arrives and they fall asleep. A white bird wakes them up and guides them to a little chocolate house. Amazed and starving, they start eating…
Murcia Teatro Los Claveles was founded in 1993 to reinforce the experience acquired by Paca García and Aniceto Roca in puppet theatre. They have travelled with their work to all the festivals of the Spanish circuit and abroad to countries that include Mexico, Russia, China and Thailand. At the same time they continue to learn about new forms of expression, ranging from traditional stories they have always performed to the subtleties of memories.
