Now that the company Tricicle is taking an indefinite break, Carles Sans has decided, after 40 years of silence, to take advantage of the situation to talk and tell funny professional and personal anecdotes from the past. His confessions are surprising: before convincing his partners to form a company, he initially focused his interest on their girlfriends. He also tells how he managed to overcome his last colonoscopy while the doctor talked to him about Tricicle.
He also tells us about the first time his parents saw him perform with Joan and Paco at a café-théatre in Barcelona, when someone licked their ears in Japan, and how he made a fool of himself in a jumbo jet due to his fear of flying.
¡Por fin solo! Is like the “making of” of the life of Tricicle: a show based on real events that will make spectators laugh as they learn more about a company that is part of this country’s emotional memory. In ¡Por fin solo! what counts is not only the stories, but also how they are told. Carles Sans combines words and gestures to draw a gallery of characters that will generate roars of laughter as well as a moving empathy between spectators and the actor.
