Coque Malla continues to show that he is the most chameleonic singer of rock and roll in Spanish. Since the beginning of his career of more than thirty years with Los Ronaldos, whose organic sound is associated to the Rolling Stones and Chuck Berry, he has evolved towards other genres such as pop, soul and funk, liberating himself from all types of anchorage. He has been on his own since 1999, without renouncing to his originality and essence, building a very personal, increasingly ambitious and complex sound. Having become a benchmark for several generations, Coque Malla has gone through many phases producing great songs. He is an exemplary musician, actor, and composer for film and theatre, having won a Goya Award for Best Original Song. All of his facets, whether popular, more obscure, amiable or cinematographic, appear in his live performances, which are a must for enthusiasts of good music.
