Mario Biondi  (Catania, 1971) is considered as the grand voice of European soul, jazz and  rythm&blues. With a deep and warm baritone, his particular and very moving style, half-way between the crooner and the soul man, was influenced by great vocalists such as Lou Rawls, Barry White, Al Jarreau and Isacc Hayes
Crooning undercover, Biondi’s much anticipated latest album, contains tributes to major names in music and crooning, such as Burt Bacharach, Bill Withers, Julie Andrews, King Pleasure, Freddy Cole and Al Jarreau. It is an homage to this style and repertoire. The live performance will include the greatest hits of his career, specifically arranged for this tour.
Biondi has explored innumerable genres and rhythms, to which he brings freshness and personality without ever losing his distinctive vintage style. Due to his extraordinary vocal skills, he has collaborated with bands such as Incognito and The Crusaders and legendary artists like Chaka Khahn, Michael Bolton and Ray Charles. He has also received acknowledgements that include the Prize for Best Artist in representation of the United Kingdom-Italy Business Association granted by the British Consulate.
